WebJun 9, 2024 · On June 5, 2024, Florida State Parks was finally able to open a newly constructed staircase down into Devil’s Millhopper. I’d been on several versions of the stairs before – starting in the late 1970s, after the park first opened, up through nearly a dozen visits before Hurricane Irma hit.
