Keep in mind that iges files are not the cleanest geometry files and often need some cleanup after they are imported. Keep an eye out for any holes, or disconnected surfaces after you import it. It's been awhile since I've used AutoCAD as input to ANSYS but I believe there are specific layer names you can use to define geometry, loads, and constraints in AutoCAD before exporting to dxf.
