WebThrowing a weapon does not seem to affect its durability. If you only throw it you'll never have to repair it. You can still aim for the head, even though the red target thing is on the mob. Headshots are still pretty much 1 hit kills, with a chance to decapitate as well. You can aim for arms and legs as well, so you can still disable Thugs.
