WebCwm Rhaeadr is a woodland and picnic area in the peaceful Tywi valley. Cwm Rhaeadr means “valley of the waterfall” in Welsh and you can enjoy views of the highest waterfall in Carmarthenshire on the Waterfall Walk. There is also a short easy-graded woodland trail and a mountain bike trail for experienced riders. WebCwm Rhaeadr is situated in the upper Tywi valley, approximately 1 mile North of Cilycwm. Forest Enterprise, which is an agency of the Forestry Commission, manages these woodlands on behalf of the National Assembly of Wales. A minor council road leads right to the forest entrance where there is a small car park and picnic site.
