WebI also considered OneNote. It is great for notes and stuff like that, but I think for a collaborative knowledge base it gives far too much freedom. And the cross-linking feature is very unhandy. It's just not really pleasurable to use which is in my opinion quite crucial when it comes to knowledge-sharing.
