Bury steam train afternoon tea
Oct 12, 2014 · WebSep 13, 2016 · Starting from Bolton St station, Bury we rode to Heywood then back through Bury and out to Rawtenstall through the lovely Vale of Irwell. Listening to the steady chuff, chuff of the steam engine hauling our train was wonderful and evoked many happy memories. The carriages are beautifully restored First Class dining cars.

The meal was really lovely and we had lovely table settings including linen napkins.
